Hello, I’m Beste.
I stumbled into ceramics after a life changing move from Istanbul to Sydney, caused by the need to get away from a stressful career as an executive and start anew.
I re-found myself and my joy in life in the ceramics studio at the School of Design and Art, UNSW.
Now through my work, I seek to bring that joy to your everyday.
Whether you are having your morning coffee in one of my cups, sharing a meal with your loved ones using a dining set I made, or looking at one of my sculptural pieces…if I can put a smile on your face, I have done my job.
